HOW TO GET MORE

FROM YOUR FUTURE CHOICES

It is as easy as click and "Add New'

Our goal is to help you get more out of your future by helping you understand what is possible.

It is up to you to make the "Future Choices" and up to us to do all the calculations and show you where your financial future is headed.

1. Don't miss out on future income streams

When you first created your profile you only entered approximate information about your "Life Today".  If you don't already have CPP or OAS income you probably will in the future.

Adding CPP, OAS or other future income streams is as easy as:

1. Selecting "Income"  on the "Future Choices" tab

2. Pressing "Add New" and selecting owner & income type

Any new money flows in to your life can be added in the same way.

2. If you are still working, play with your retirement date

We could only guess about your thoughts on retirement.  Discover what happens when you make work optional sooner or stay employed longer.

To modify your retirement date simply:

1. Select "Income" on the "Future Choices" tab

2. Click on the name of your current Employment

3. Drag the right hand end of the green bar left or right & save

See the impact by going to your "Choice Assessment" and looking at how your net worth changes over time

3. Modify your lifestyle costs

Everyone's basic expense (groceries, insurance, healthcare, etc) are different.  We created a single base amount for you when you signed up.  Why not get more detailed in "Life Today" and then make adjustments for elements that are likely to change in the future.  If you have children for example once they leave home you will likely spend less for groceries than you do now.

To modify an expense in the future:

1. Select "Expenses"  on the "Future Choices" tab

2. Click on the name of the expense

3. Drag the right hand end of the green bar left or right & save or add a new expense value under "Add Activity" and completing the amount, start year, end year, and clicking Add

See the impact by going to your "Choice Assessment" and looking at how your net worth changes over time

4. Get more out of the Net Worth report

The net worth chart is a future projection of your financial health as earning income, accumulate savings, and spend on your desired lifestyle.  The projections includes taxes, investment returns, and inflation
